The challenge:
A client from a long-time biopharma customer was performing separation studies on biological samples. As part of the workflow, the client was comparing pull downs versus lectin affinity chromatography. This necessitated the manufacture of custom lectin affinity columns for FPLC. However, the client did not have the time or in-house capability to do so.
Our solution:
Lectenz Bio was contracted to manufacture the affinity columns because of our expertise in column manufacturing for our in-house products and our ability to quickly and efficiently deliver to meet the client’s tight timelines. We designed a custom packing SOP, using all the components required by the client.
The result:
Lectenz Bio successfully manufactured several lectin affinity columns for the client and delivered well within the time frame allotted.
