Robert Woods, professor of biochemistry and molecular biology, and chemistry, and researcher in the Complex Carbohydrate Research Center, earned the 2014 Academic Entrepreneur of the Year Award at the University of Georgia. Prof. Woods is a leading expert in the fields of glycomics and computational chemistry. As President, Co-Founder, & Scientific Advisory Board Chair of Lectenz® Bio, his work focuses on disease biomarker detection and the production and development of therapeutic antibodies and other biologics.
